As a conscientious breeder, experienced puppy counselor, and die-hard puppy lover, I'd like to believe nothing can ever go wrong with our puppies. However, certain things are never in our control. A puppy's health is dependent on a lot of factors like genetics, exercise, food & nourishment and overall care. If something does go wrong, I always strive to help, oftentimes even when my guarantee doesn't cover it. While I may not be able to guarantee that your puppy will never have a health problem, I guarantee that I will do my best to ensure your new family member is a healthy one! I adhere to a strict Code of Ethics. I provide all my puppies with a comprehensive health evaluation report that has been carefully documented by our in-house veterinarian. I also ensure my puppies are up-to-date with vaccinations and have been de-wormed. Finally as an additional check, I ask that you take your puppy to a licensed veterinarian within 2 business days of receiving your puppy, so you and I can both be sure that your puppy arrived happy and healthy. 5 Year Limited Guarantee:Defined as a period of five years from the puppy's date of birth. Here is what it covers: | Birth to 1st Year: I do not believe your puppy is replaceable but I do believe that sometimes the pain can be lessened in the company of another furry friend. In the unlikely event of the death of a puppy within one year from its birth due to genetics, or if the puppy is found to have congenital or hereditary disorders (within one year) which adversely affects the health of your puppy, I will replace the pet with another of equivalent value at no cost to you. This does not include shipping. The cause of death must be certified by a licensed veterinarian. | | 1st Year to 5th Year: In the event of the death of a puppy, due to genetics, after the first year of birth, I will issue a credit in the amount of 50% of the original cost towards the purchase of a replacement puppy of equivalent value, within 4 months. What I need from you:Nothing delights me more than knowing I was able to bring a healthy, happy puppy to you. I do seek out your help to ensure your puppy remains healthy. Here are a few measures that will help: | Send us a copy of the examination (medical record), that was done within 2 business days of receiving your puppy. The examination must be performed by a licensed veterinarian. Your puppy will come with up-to-date, age-appropriate vaccinations, so make sure that your veterinarian sees the health record I provide. The daily healthcare and maintenance of your pet, including all the recommended immunizations and examinations. | | While I de-worm and vaccinate your pup till the departure date, I'd like you to continue proper de-worming and conducting regular exams up to 16 weeks of age or more (or as recommended by the veterinarian). |
Exceptions to our Guarantee: | I cannot guarantee the disposition or temperament, conformation, size, weight, color, markings or breeding ability of your new puppy. | | Failure to provide your puppy with timely inoculations or regular veterinary care will void this guarantee. | | This guarantee does not cover any veterinarian costs or shipping. | | This guarantee does not cover any costs associated with spaying or neutering, including undescended testes or hernias. |
Federal USDA and the State of Missouri Rules & Regulations govern all warranties and guarantees. All sales are considered initiated, transacted and finalized in Laclede County, Missouri.
